Remember, the Scripture was written for us but it was not written to us!
The Most important key point of interpretation is audience relevance
...what did it first mean to the original audience.

COVENANTAL LANGUAGE

The Destruction
of Jerusalem

Hebrews 8:11 And they shall not teach, each one his neighbor and each one his brother,
saying, 'Know the Lord,' for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest.

Importantly, Paul links the salvation of the Gentiles and the salvation of all Israel. To see this connection, one must observe what Paul says in 11:26-27: "as it is written, The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; For this is my covenant with them, When I take away their sins." With whom is this covenant made? To whom does the Deliverer come? Whose sins are taken away? Paul quotes from Isaiah 27:9 and 59:20-21, and this prophetic text is closely linked to the covenant that Jeremiah speaks of the in 31:31-34; i.e., the New Covenant that God would make, not with part of Israel, but with both "the house of Israel" and "the house of Judah." So, how does Paul’s mission to the Gentiles fit in with God’s fulfillment of His covenant with both houses, Israel and Judah?

Bridging the Gap in Reformed Eschatology
A Preterist Response to
When Shall These Things Be?

_______________________________

Sam Frost, David Green, Edward Hassertt and Michael Sullivan has dedicated their time towards answering the tough, but very simple, questions when it comes to Preterism and why other try to refute us before ever sitting down to see what the scripture actually teaches.

They'll explain why people like Gentry would rather let the creeds, tradition, comes before the scripture rather then the other way around where SCRIPTURES should always come first...Sola Scriptura:

"We also learn from Gentry that when Christians today are first confronted with preterism, it is "crucial" that they first go to the ecumenical creeds (orthodoxy) before they go to the Scripture. And "only after" Christians decisively establish the fact (by means of the creeds/orthodoxy) that preterism is anti-biblical, may they then rightly go on to "consider" preterism exegetically and theologically in the in the light of Scripture (2, 60).

We also learn that the doctrine of futurism, as contained in the ecumenical creeds, is "infallibly certain" (44) and that it is thus unthinkable that Mother Church could have been mistaken on creedal eschatology.

After reading the striking truth that these anti-preterist share, where they would rather put mother church over the Bible instead of the other way around, Sam Frost ends his chapter by sharing:

The book you have in your hand is a strike against what has divided our house for far too long. It is time to rebuild the edifice, heal the divisions, and bring back into focus what it means to be followers of sola Scriptura.

After reading this book, you'll never again see Preterism in the negative perspective you once were taught for it will be the Scripture that guides you instead of tradition other might call Mother the Church

The Feasts of the Lord

Audio & Text Series
David B. Curtis

Old Covenant Israel's holidays were prescribed by God...there were seven of them. These seven holidays are discussed throughout the Bible, in both the Old and New Testaments. But only in Leviticus 23 are all seven holidays listed in chronological sequence. These seven holidays are called, the Feasts of the Lord.

"The day of authority in the church is passed by; it is to be hoped, that the day of sound reason and of argument is to follow." Moses Stuart from "the Preface" in his Hebrew commentary...3rd edition 1854.

    Establisment and Limits
    of Civil Government
    :
    An Exposition of Romans 13:1-7

    James Willson

The war started in the 3rd chapter of Genesis. I believe the Word of God teaches it ended in Revelation, chapter 20. This represents a period of over 4000 years. In 70 A.D. our Lord Returned and Completely Destroyed all the works of the Devil, and restored the Kingdom back to God.

    Heb.2:14; 1Jn.3:8; Eph.1:20-22;
    Rev.10:7; 11:15; 12:10-12; 20:10.

"I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye has seen You." (Job 42:5)

The book of Job rejects the doctrine of a literal, biological/physical resurrection of the dead:

"For there is hope for a tree, when it is cut down, that it will sprout again, and its shoots will not fail.  Though its roots grow old in the ground and its stump dies in the dry soil, at the scent of water it will flourish and put forth sprigs like a plant.  But man dies and lies prostrate.  Man expires, and where is he?  As water evaporates from the sea, and a river becomes parched and dried up, so man lies down and does not rise.  Until the heavens are no longer, He will not awake nor be aroused out of his sleep." (Job 147-12)

    HISTORICAL
    SIGNIFICANCE

"During the Middle Ages, Josephus was the most widely read ancient author in Europe.. Josephus' literary influence had no equals, with the sole exception of the Bible."

Flavius Josephus, a Jewish priest and Pharisee, was put in command of the national resistance in Galilee at the time of Israel's revolt against Rome.  When he was captured at Jotapata; his life was spared upon his prediction to rival Vespasian, that the Roman general would soon become emperor.  Upon the fulfillment of this prophecy shortly thereafter, he was commissioned to provide his captors with a history of the Jewish people, although he initially wrote a history of the Roman-Jewish war suited for both a Roman and a Jewish audience.   His works, disputed though they may be regard accuracy, are an indispensable source on the life and history in Roman Judea.
